How To Download World Of Warcraft

Step 1:

Go to the link and download World of Warcraft Installer.zip.

For PC

OR

For Mac

Step 2:

Extract and run the file you just downloaded.
Below is what you should see if you are installing on PC.

Step 3:

Please select the version of World of Warcraft you would like to install, then click OK.
If you do not have WoW installed you'll need to start with World of Warcraft.
Select "World of Warcraft", then click OK.

Step 4:

Next you will need to install "World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade".
Select "World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade", then click OK.

Step 5:

Finally you will need to install "World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King".
Select "World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King", then click OK.

When you start the install, it will ask you if you want to move it to a public folder,
Click "No"
Next it will ask if you are sure,
Click "Yes"

Step 6:

After this installs you'll be at 3.0.1

Run the WOW.exe found on your desktop and let it update until you're at 3.2.2 (10505)

Step 7:

Now, go to the folder where you installed the Wow files.
(For example c:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Data\EnUS)
(It should be located in the program files in your computer if that is where you downloaded and installed it to)

Now you will see a file call realmlist.wtf in the Wow\Data\EnUS folder.
You need to right click and open it.
Windows will ask you to search for a program to open it or select a program.
Choose the select program and use notepad in the list to open this file.
You will see 4 lines on this page.

They will look like this:

set realmlist us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
set patchlist us.version.worldofwarcraft.com
set realmlistbn ""
set portal us

The first line you need to delete all but set realmlist
and then type this line:
crusadersofeternity.game-host.org
(Make sure there is a space after realmlist)
The second line you need to delete all but set patchlist
and then type this line:
crusadersofeternity.game-host.org
(Make sure there is a space after patchlist)

Delete the remaining 2 lines.

Now your realmlist should look like this:

set realmlist crusadersofeternity.game-host.org
set patchlist crusadersofeternity.game-host.org

Save the file.

Step 8:

Do not close the Wow folder out just yet.
Go to your desktop and delete the Wow shortcut that was put there.

Now you need to create a new shortcut.

In the Wow folder find the Wow.exe file. (it looks like the shortcut you just deleted)
Create another shortcut. (Do not use the launcher)
(This will also check for updates, which is not good at this time)

Drag and drop that shortcut to your desktop. You are now ready to play.

Click on your Wow shortcut icon.

Step 9:

(LAST STEP)

This is a necessary step in order to log into the game.

Email Starlight for registration with the following *REQUIRED infomation.
Please include the following information in your email.
*1. First & Last Name
*2. Date of Birth
*3. Login Name
*4. Password
*5. Contact Email Address
